The sales executive is also responsible for managing all aspects of the sales function cold calling, relationship building, inside, and outside sales.
- Establishing and maintaining new book of business
- Establishing business alliance partners for referral business
- Gathering market and customer information
- Representing the organization at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
- Negotiating variations in price, delivery and specifications with customers
- Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions
- Reviewing own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
- Representing the organization in an ethical manner
